HEBA FATIMA BAIG

I am from Houston, Texas - one of the largest cities in America, and one of the most diverse. I received my Bachelor's degree in Math and Business from Houston Baptist University. After graduation I served as an AmeriCorps VISTA member at a Houston based nonprofit working with first generation high school students.

My time serving in Houston, and the values instilled in me by my parents led me to pursue a career in Public Service. This path led me to enroll in The Bush School of Government & Public Service where I am currently studying Nonprofit Management, Public Management, and Education Policy. Upon graduating The Bush School, I hope to return to my community and work with first generation college students to help them achieve academic and personal success.
